Exercise Physiologists are experts and have extensive knowledge about exercise and exercise prescription for physical fitness, endurance, strength and flexibility in healthy populations.
We prescribe and manipulate exercises to allow you to reach your goals faster and for those suffering from injury, pre- & post- orthopaedic operation or a chronic disease we ensure faster recovery times and/or improve quality of life. We have a holistic approach and address other aspects of life, such as stress and sleep.
You don’t need to be a member to take advantage our personal training and rehab specialists. We also can come to you!
TREATMENTS WE PROVIDE
We provide exercise testing and prescription for the following:
• Sports Performance and Sports Related Injuries
• Cardiovascular Conditions: Chronic heart failure, Valvular heart disease, Atherosclerosis, Peripheral Artery Obstruction and Hypertension
• Metabolic Conditions: Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Renal Disease, Sleep Apnoea, Fatty Liver, Obesity and Polycystic
Ovaries
• Neurological Conditions: Stroke/Transient Ischaemic Attack, Parkinson’s, Multiple sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injuries and Traumatic brain injury
• Respiratory Conditions: Asthma, Emphysema, Bronchitis and Cystic Fibrosis
• Musculoskeletal Conditions: Arthritis, Osteo-arthritis, Osteoporosis, Acute and chronic muscular injuries and pre- & post-Orthopaedic Surgery
